The University of Afghanistan started its work on the 12th of 1391. The university offers academic and advanced training in diplomacy and international relations, development studies, political science and law. The university has also taken firm steps to produce valuable scientific services to make Afghanistan prosperous and proud, and has established a scientific research center in collaboration with professors and researchers in the field of political and international studies.
A delegation from the evaluation branch of the Ministry of Higher Education visited the University of Afghanistan for reviewing its academic activities
On 27/06/2021, a delegation from the evaluation branch of the Ministry of Higher Education visited the University of Afghanistan. The members of the delegation included Professor Aisha Mohseni from Shahid Rabbani University, Professor Abdul Qoddos Mazhari from Shahid Rabbani University and Qari Mostaqim Nezami from the Evaluation and Supervision Directorate, Ministry of Higher Education.
At the beginning and in an introductory meeting in his office Dr. Faramarz Tamanna, President of the University of Afghanistan, welcomed the delegation. He thanked the officials of the Ministry of Higher Education for the continuous evaluation of the universities, and assured that the University of Afghanistan is always ready to be evaluated and cooperate with the Ministry of higher Education.
Then the delegation formally began their work and, by evaluating the documents and activities of the departments, examined in detail the course of affairs of these sections. Afterwards, the esteemed delegation visited physically the faculties, departments, different sections, facilities and infrastructures of the university and praised the order and progress of the works have been done all these years.
At the end of the program, while appreciating the presence of the delegation, Dr. Sharif Hozoori, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of Afghanistan University, thanked each of them for their efforts and promised to increase the level of cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and the University of Afghanistan.
The leadership of the University of Afghanistan appreciates and thanks all its colleagues for their commitment and hard work, their honest service for the progress and development of the university, and wishes each of them good health and prosperity with much success through their life.
