The book called Street, Protest and power was reviewed and critiqued
On April 27, 2021, the University of Afghanistan, in collaboration with the Vazha Publication, held a review meeting of the book “Street; Protest and Power” co-authored by Ramin Kamangar and Shahir Sirat. The program was held in the hall of the University of Afghanistan in the presence of Dr. Faramarz Tamanna, President of the University of Afghanistan, Mr. Ramin Kamangar, one of the authors of the book, Jamil Ehsas and Khan Mohammad Khoshfitrat, professors and the main speakers of the program.
At the beginning, Mr. Iqbal Ehsan, the host of the program, welcomed the guests and introduced the book. Then Jamil Ehsas, the speaker and critic of the book, spoke about the strengths and weaknesses of the book. He critiqued the book from the aspect of method, structure and content.
After that, the next speaker of the program Mr. Khan Mohammad Khoshfitrat, shared his views with audience and spoke about the strengths and weaknesses of the book. Good-naturedness required a number of corrections, including a set of differences that exist in the two sections of the book.
Afterwards, the author, Ramin Kamangar, thanked the speakers, students, Vazha Publication and the University of Afghanistan and answered the students’ questions.
The program ended with questions and answers from the participants.
